I suspect that Steam "locks" the workshop by default, which is why newer games tend to often not be accessible via the downloader - meaning it's up to the game's publisher to explicitly set the workshop to be available.Īh ok. If you want a mod that's currently "locked" for you because you don't have it on Steam, your options are:ġ) Contact the publisher of the game and get them to unlock it (this sometimes works - Klei unlocked Invisible Inc workshop mods for example).Ģ) See if the mod is available elsewhere, such as Moddb or NexusMods - if not, contact the developer of the mod and get them to get their shit together. The API Steam downloader (and similar web pages and tools) uses is a web-based API - it never had anything to do with the game itself. This is nothing to do with Steam Downloader and the API, and everything to do with the publisher of the game not enabling those who don't own the game on Steam to download workshop mods. In the past the steam workshop used to use a different system where the game itself would download mods using an API, which I think is what that steam workshop downloader is trying to use. It all goes through the steam client now. "I think it's not actually possible to use a downloader for newer steam workshop stuff, because it uses the same download depot system for mods as for games. Guess GOG users are not allowed to use mods for that game. I also tried different tile sizes and found that a tile size of 10 X 10 resulted in the best performance, but only slightly better than a tile size of 100 X 100. Return = 987654321 in 0.084153890609741 SecondsĪs you can see, the querytime was again cut in a bit more then half, resulting in a querytime of under 1/5 of the original query. If I additionally add an index: CREATE INDEX myRasterTable_rast_gist_idx ON myRasterTable USING GIST (ST_ConvexHull(rast)) Īnd then perform the query again, I get: // Get cell value Return = 987654321 in 0.22717499732971 SecondsĪs you can see, this already reduced query time to ~2/5 of the original time. I can then add my band: UPDATE myRasterTable SET rast = ST_AddBand(rast, 1, '32BUI'::text, 0, NULL) Īnd finally, I can add and retrieve values with: // Add cell value It then tiles the temporary raster using ST_Tile into 10X10 cell tiles and adds these tiles to the table. This makes a temporary raster with an extent of 5000 X 2000 using ST_MakeEmptyRaster. To create a new table in PostGIS containing empty tiles which add up to an extend of 5000 X 2000 cells, I used this query: CREATE TABLE myRasterTable (rid integer, rast raster) And lastly: how do I then perform a query of what cell value a specific location has after the raster has been tiled?Īfter quite some trial and error, I seem to have found the solution.Once the tiles are created, do I need to create a seperate spatial index or is that done automatically?.How to create tiles out of my large raster in PostGIS or how I could create a tiled raster from the start with PostGIS? In other words: What query do I need to use to create a raster tile collection covering a 5000X2000 raster with tiles of an extent of 100X100 cells containing multiple bands?.I have found numerous posts saying, that for larger rasters, it is essential in regards to query performance, that rasters are tiled with extents of about 100X100 cells per tile (references: AND ) SELECT rid, ST_Value(rast, ST_Transform(ST_SetSRID(ST_MakePoint(7.0,48.5),4326),2056),false) val FROM myRasterTable SELECT rid, ST_Value(rast, ST_Transform(ST_SetSRID(ST_MakePoint(7.5,48.5),4326),2056),false) val FROM myRasterTable I can now query the value of the raster cell I have set: // Location with value I have also added a band and added a value to one of the raster cells: UPDATE myRasterTable SET rast = ST_AddBand(rast, 1, '32BF'::text, 0) I found out that most of this this is possible by first creating a raster table: CREATE TABLE myRasterTable(rid serial primary key, rast raster) Īnd then adding an empty raster: INSERT INTO myRasterTable(rid, rast) report animal sightings in cells over time). I will basically add individual cell values to the empty raster in the future (e.g. I would like to generate an empty raster containing 5000 X 2000 cells, which I would like to query later to find a specific cell at location x/y or add a cell value at location x/y. I am new to postgres/postgis and am trying to figure out how to make an empty tiled raster with postgis. In the conceptual chess game inaugurated by Duchamp, in which each successive avant-garde movement was understood as a dialectical response to its forerunners, postmodernism was checkmate. From this point on, art movements could be only subcultural spasms, or worse, marketing ploys. Though postmodernist art shared certain strategies with Pattern and Decoration work-fragmentary collage and an emphasis on the signifying surface-it tended to be more theoretical and introverted, often hostile to “grand narratives” of progress. The bellwether “Pictures” show at Artists Space in 1977, coinciding with P&D’s peak, augured a crisis of authorship, most clearly exemplified by appropriation-based practices. To grasp the force of this argument, it helps to expand on an observation about P&D by New York Times critic Holland Cotter: it was “the last genuine art movement of the twentieth century.” 2 In a weak sense, this is true just because of the great fragmentation that came right after-the rupture of postmodernism. It all adds up to an extremely convincing case for the relevance of the Pattern and Decoration movement, which Katz sees not as a divergence from more weighty avant-garde matters, but on the contrary, the key turning point in recent art. The publication accompanying the MOCA show also addresses the role of the curators and critics who supported the movement, including Jane Kaufmann, John Perreault, Jeff Perrone, and particularly Amy Goldin, whose vibrant voice was lost tragically early when she died of cancer in April 1978. It is the most thematically broad and visually intense show of the lot, while MOCA’s “With Pleasure” is arguably the most scholarly. Back in the United States, curator Jenelle Porter’s “Less Is a Bore: Maximalist Art and Design” at the ICA Boston is a spectacular swathe of over-the-topness. A version of “Pattern and Decoration: Ornament as Promise,” co-organized by Esther Boehle at the Ludwig Forum in Aachen and Manuela Ammer at MUMOK in Vienna, will open at Budapest’s Ludwig Museum next month under the title “Pattern and Decoration,” while “Pattern, Crime and Decoration”-curated by Lionel Bovier, Franck Gautherot, and Seungduk Kim-can now be seen at Le Consortium in Dijon after debuting at Mamco, Geneva, in late 2018. In Europe, where P&D was collected early and in depth, two exhibitions are currently on tour. The movement’s key protagonists, a tight circle based in New York and California-Cynthia Carlson, Brad Davis, Valerie Jaudon, Richard Kalina, Joyce Kozloff, Robert Kushner, Kim MacConnel, Tony Robbin, Schapiro, and Robert Zakanitch-are being shown alongside other artists who shared their visual impulses, but not necessarily their intellectual goals. Meanwhile, there have been no fewer than four major exhibitions in 2019, all foregrounding Pattern and Decoration while also opening up to a broader purview. The show juxtaposed works by one of P&D’s founding figures with related examples by younger artists. The deluge began last year with “Surface/Depth: The Decorative After Miriam Schapiro,” curated by art historian Elissa Auther at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. " The Equalizer continues to pack a powerful punch on Sunday nights, and we’re thrilled to have it back for two more seasons,” said Thom Sherman, senior executive vice president of programming at CBS Entertainment. According to Deadline, the show got a two-season renewal due it being "Sunday’s #1 scripted series, averaging 9.46 million viewers." ET on CBS.īack in May, the network announced that The Equalizer would officially be returning for season 3 and it was also getting a season 4. The Equalizer season 3 will premiere on Sunday, October 2 at 8:30 p.m. If you have been waiting to see what happens next in Robyn's story, here are all the details we know so far about The Equalizer season 3: Is there going to be a The Equalizer season 3 on CBS? In reality, Robyn lives a double life and works undercover to defend those who have nowhere else to turn. To many, she looks like a typical single mother who lives with her aunt Viola ( Lorraine Toussaint) while raising daughter Delilah ( Layla DeLeon Hayes). Co-created by executive producers Richard Lindheim, Michael Sloan and Queen Latifah, the show follows the life of former CIA operative Robyn. The show, starring Queen Latifah as leading protagonist Robyn, is one the latest iteration of the original '80s TV series and two films in recent years. The Equalizer fans are missing the CBS drama and are more than ready for season 3. But at 50mm, I don't get much movement at all from the setup, so I'd have to dither manually… It works fine with a dithered image-and I get plenty of "natural" dithering from my setup if I shoot at 200mm or higher. I use Lynkeos (indeed, for OS X), which does sigma-reject stacking. Im sure you have your reasons for using rawtherapee, maybe you use OSX? I still use it today because its so easy, I can go through the menus with my eyes closed. On a final note, I put off buying pixinisght for years but in the end, it was the best investment I made in the hobby, better than any camera, filter, lens, telescope or mount.Īgain, Im not saying I have the right solution, but Im happy to share my experience because I started out with the same camera as you back in 2013. DSS allows you to do alot more than simple averaging if you should choose to go that route. Im not saying this is the only way you can do this right, but I can say there is no reason this method would fail if you follow each step.Īlso, have you tried a program that utilizes outlier based image integration? Averaging your data certainly works, but other programs such as Deep Sky Stacker, also free, will let you knock out calibration, registration, and integration in one go. I do not use dark scaling, but suppose that this could help deal with the temp flux overnight. It is a sensor which gets hot and noisy, but with good darks/flats/bias, calibrates like a breeze.įor this reason I always spend the last hour or two of my imaging session shooting darks. They are all the same sensor in different bodies. I had no idea it could average images the way you describe. Perhaps if my AP one day produced a positive income (so far it's been $$$$ negative) I'd consider an upgrade…starting with my setup!īQ, nice job figuring out Rawtherapee for this use. But my time is free, so if I can find workflows with freeware that runs on my old Mac that produce pleasing results, I'll use them! Surmounting the challenge with successful results is my reward. I have no desire to sink more funds into new €€€ software rabbit holes (which would require $$$ to $$$$ computer upgrades), especially when I already know I'm capture limited (especially with a stock Canon 600D/T3i). RawTherapee (calibration) → Lynkeos (alignment & stacking) → Photoshop CS5 w/ (processing) I've added incremental improvements through the years, and my current workflow is I have 25 years of experience with (and over $1000 sunk into) Photoshop, and I started my foray into digital AP with superresolution in Photoshop. I am curious about the reasons why you chose this over other solutions like pixinsight (other than the most obvious one, that one is for free, the other isn't). And since templates seem to get averaged somewhere in the processing chain, there is no apparent performance hit by switching darks folders.Īre you doing all your processing in rawtherapee or just some steps? RawTherapee finds the bias frames and turns them into templates then when I check Dark-Frame Auto-selection, it picks the right bias stack to subtract. If I want to subtract just bias templates, I select the bias frames folder as the darks folder in the RawTherapee preferences. The answer is "No!" of course! I just created a folder of sets of bias frames and moved it to the same enclosing folder as the darks folder. But again, same problem (i.e., I can't select the bias). This really made me want to subtract out just the bias. So you can only imagine the holes created by the superheated pixels subtracted from the chilled sensor data. This became an issue recently when I tried to process some data from last winter (July), but my darks were from the hottest part of summer (January). So there's a crude sort of library, but there's no way for me to select the darks template to apply. To find the template for the file to be processed, it first looks for sets that match the camera EXIF data, and then for the set closest in time to the shots. It automatically combs the darks folder you specify and combines sets into averaged stacks called templates, but the only way a template gets selected for subtraction is for the Dark-Frame Auto-selection to be checked. One of the shortcomings of RawTherapee is that it doesn't have any provisions for a true darks library. |
